Well known international newspaper the Financial Times (FT) included PARTNERSINWEALTH in its 2017 list of the top 300 Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) in the United States. To be considered, firms had to manage at least $300 million and were then judged on multiple criteria such as asset growth, regulatory compliance and industry certification of employees.

“We present the FT 300 as an elite group, not a competitive ranking of one to 300,” wrote Loren Fox and Michael Ferraro in announcing the list. “This is the fairest way to identify the industry’s elite advisers while accounting for the companies’ different approaches and different specializations.”
PARTNERSINWEALTH joined three other Houston-area firms on the list. Chicago had the most representation with 12 firms, followed by New York with 11. On average, advisors on the list had 24 years of experience, and Fox pointed out that a “focus on advice” was key to inclusion.
“Being selected to FT’s list is a real honor because their process takes into account a wide range of criteria,” said PARTNERSINWEALTH President Jim Waters, CFP®. “But the focus on the client relationship makes it an especially good fit for us. Our business model is to serve as a client’s most trusted single-point-of-contact on any financial matter, and to optimize the performance of other advisors.”
Jeff Riley, CLU®, CFP®, echoed Waters’ sentiments. “Our best validation will always be direct feedback from clients and what we see happening in their lives. But industry recognition, whether regional like the Houston Business Journal and the Better Business Bureau awards, or national like the FT list, make a nice icing on the cake.”
